Try something new in the New Year. Good oral health practices are always recommended. This includes brushing twice daily and flossing. If you think you don’t have the time to floss, maybe some flavored floss may entice you to make the time!
The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends flossing at least once a day, but not everybody keeps up with the action. Perhaps some variety might change things up a bit. Did you know that dental floss comes in flavors than just cinnamon or spearmint?

So far, dental picks didn’t appear to get too crazy when it came to flavor, but we did find plenty of fruit inspired varieties, in addition to the traditional mints.
And toothpaste? Flavors abound!
We found almost every flavor listed under dental floss (except perhaps for cat food and Justin Bieber) and so many more including lemon, Oreo cookie, champagne, basil, mint chocolate, wasabi and others!
Despite the fun and adventure of trying new flavors, be sure you’re choosing a product approved by the ADA. This means it’s been independently reviewed for safety and effectiveness.
